In my editorial assessment, I will look at your manuscript and determine which kind of editing it needs.

$0.012 per word
Developmental Editing
Through developmental editing, I work alongside the author to ensure the plot is coherent. I check that the story runs smoothly and everything fits nicely. I point out any inconsistencies or "big picture" issues that may be present and suggest ideas that I believe will help the story.

Pricing Range:
$0.02 - $0.04 per word
Copyediting
As a copyeditor, I focus more on the grammar. I look out for typos, incorrect word uses, and overall grammar inconsistencies.

$0.015 - $0.2 per word
Notes on Pricing:​

There is a range for pricing because some manuscripts will require more work than others, and I shall price them accordingly. With that being said, there is room for negotiation.

I prefer to charge per word rather than per page or hour because it feels the most fair to the author and the amount of content I will work on. However, if you'd like to discuss another option, feel free to say so.

To provide a basis for comparison, I will show below the pricing for a manuscript with 100,000 words.
